YWCA Northeast Kansas Receives Collegiate Cares COVID-19 Grant

TOPEKA, KANSAS - Topeka Collegiate has selected the YWCA as a recipient of the Collegiate Cares COVID-19 Grant.“The YWCA continues to provide childcare for the children of essential workers,” said Dr. Lyn Rantz, Head of School. “We’re grateful for all that they do for our community and are pleased to support them in this small way.”“We are so grateful for the generosity and commitment of Topeka Collegiate to providing continued access to quality childcare during the safer-at-home orders,” said YWCA CEO Kathleen Marker. “This grant will allow us to purchase the necessary laptops and webcams needed in order to continue to provide academic and social-emotional support in our Youth Services programs while we continue to adapt to best meet our community’s needs.”
